Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information, and (as of 2026) to limit the use of certain sensitive personal information. This page provides those opt-out paths for ReUpload (operated by Noah Johnston, dba “ReUpload,” a sole proprietor based in Wisconsin, United States).
What we collect and how
We collect the data described in our Privacy Policy to deliver ReUpload to you. We do not sell your personal information for monetary value. California law nonetheless requires this page whether we sell personal information or not, so we publish it as a declaratory notice and provide opt-out paths for any sharing-style activity.
Our analytics integrations (page views, feature usage, error tracking, optional session replay) may constitute “sharing” under CPRA's broad definition. The relevant providers are listed on our subprocessors page. These integrations are off by default and only enabled with your consent via the cookie banner.
Sensitive personal information (CCPA 2026)
Effective in 2026, CCPA includes additional categories of sensitive personal information (SPI), including AI-derived inferences from your content. ReUpload uses your data only for first-party purposes (delivering the Service you asked for) and does not infer or use SPI to build profiles for other parties. To explicitly limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is strictly necessary to provide the Service, email the address below with the subject line “Limit SPI Use.”
How to opt out
To opt out of any analytics-related “sharing” of your personal information, email noahjj1350@gmail.com with the subject line “CCPA Opt-Out Request” and include:
- The email address on your ReUpload account
- A statement that you're a California resident
- Whether you want us to also delete your existing data (separate from opting out)
- Whether you want to limit the use of sensitive personal information
We'll confirm receipt within 10 business days and complete the opt-out within 45 days (the CCPA-mandated window, with one possible 45-day extension if reasonably necessary).
You can also disable consent-gated analytics anytime from Settings → Privacy, which immediately stops sharing-style processing without an email round-trip.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
ReUpload honors the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or a privacy extension sends a GPC signal (the Sec-GPC header / navigator.globalPrivacyControlproperty), we automatically treat it as a valid request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and disable product analytics for that browser — no form or account required. You'll see an on-screen confirmation when we detect it. This is the universal opt-out mechanism recognized by California (CPRA) and the other US state privacy laws that require honoring GPC.

- Right to correct — fix inaccurate personal information about you
- Right to limit sensitive PI use — restrict use of SPI to first-party Service delivery
- Right to non-discrimination — exercising these rights won't result in worse service or higher prices
